Ice oceans ‘are not poles apart’

Limacina helicina occurs in both Arctic and Antarctic waters

At least 235 marine species are living in both polar regions, despite being 12,000km apart, a census has found.

Scientists were surprised to find the same species of “swimming snails” at both poles, raising questions about how they evolved and became so dispersed.

The census, involving 500 researchers from more than 25 nations, was carried out during International Polar Year.

The findings form part of the global Census of Marine Life (CoML) report, which will be published in 2010.

“Some of the more obvious species like birds and whales migrate between the poles on an annual basis,” explained Ron O’Dor, CoML’s co-senior scientist.

But he added the presence of smaller creatures, such as worms living in mud, sea cucumbers and “swimming snails”, at both locations had particularly interested researchers on the project.

My Comment: Quote: “Scientist were surprised” — well if you are so engrossed in evolutionary theories you would be. Of course they have a ‘possible’ answer — they always manage to find something — usually later proved incorrect.

The problem is that this kind of ‘discovery’ is now getting so common that it takes a real ’step of faith’ to continue to believe the ‘religion’ of evolution. It takes a small step of real evidence-based faith to believe in creation.

Just do it! — Say: ‘God if you are really real I really need to know!’

Now that isn’t too difficult is it? — Well if God isn’t real but just a figment of our imagination then he won’t answer will he — so no ‘big deal’.

But if He IS real and really cares personally for every person He created then it is just possible that He will answer. Actually I tell you from experience — HE WILL ANSWER YOU. Then you WILL KNOW the Truth and He will set you free!

At least it is worth a try — eh?  Do it now!
